Welcome to The Bere

Thank you for your interest in The Bere - a unique dining experience in the heart of Whitchurch, Hampshire.

At The Bere, we offer a carefully curated six-course dining experience, designed to celebrate exceptional local ingredients and bold flavours. Unlike traditional restaurants, we serve a single set menu, allowing our chef to craft dishes that showcase the best of the season.

The Experience

Dinner begins at 7 PM sharp, with all guests served at the same time.

Your evening will begin with a warm welcome, a glass of Sparkling Coates and Seely, and selection of seasonal Canapés.

While we keep the menu a surprise, rest assured that even the most selective palates find delight in our creations. It’s an opportunity to discover new flavours and dishes you may never have considered before. Each menu is purely local, seasonal and organic. We are happy to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements, provided we receive this information in advance.

Please note it is an intimate venue with between 16 and 20 covers.

Guests are seated at their own tables.

To enhance your meal, we offer a carefully selected wine pairing for each course, or you are welcome to choose from our excellent wine list. Soft drinks are also made available.

Pricing

• £70 per person for the six-course dining experience

• £40 per person for the optional wine pairing

• £15 per bottle corkage and £5 per drink
